Aunt Rita's Mission

The mission of Aunt Rita's Foundation, an Arizona 501(c)(3) all-volunteer nonprofit organization, is to raise funds to increase awareness and meet the needs of persons affected and infected with HIV/AIDS in our community.

The AIDS Crisis is not over. People of every race, religion, lifestyle, and age continue to test positive. In the U.S., a million people are living with HIV, and as many as 300 thousand don’t even know they’re infected yet. Although those with HIV/AIDS are living longer lives, they also require more care. In Arizona, our AIDS service organizations form a fabric of services for those affected by HIV/AIDS including testing, medical therapies, food boxes, support groups, clinical drug trials, and culturally diverse prevention and education. Aunt Rita's Foundation brings many of these organizations together in an important alliance to raise funds for these critical services.
